Happy retirement to Mike Blank, our Director of Engineering and Quality Assurance, after an incredible 47 years with our organization.

Mike joined the company in 1979 fresh out of high school and built a remarkable career through hard work, curiosity, and an unwavering commitment to excellence. Over the years, Mike progressed from Assembler to Machinist, Tool & Die Maker, Draftsman, and ultimately Director of Engineering and Quality Assurance. Much of his engineering, design, and quality assurance expertise was self-taught, and his knowledge, ingenuity, and problem-solving skills played a key role in the development of many of our products and patents, including our locomotive gear case seals and other innovations that continue to support the rail industry today.

It was especially meaningful to celebrate this milestone with Mike’s family, including his wife, mother, children, and grandchildren. They joined him for a tour of our facility, a surf-and-turf luncheon, and a special presentation recognizing his many contributions to Miller Ingenuity over the years.

For nearly five decades, Mike has helped shape not only our products, but also our culture and the people around him. His loyalty, passion, and expertise have left a lasting mark on our company.

Thank you, Mike, for everything you have given to Miller Ingenuity. We wish you all the best as you begin this well-earned next chapter.

Congratulations on your retirement!
